More Info:

This compilation of classic Connie Francis tracks is drawn from EPs issued in France, Spain, West Germany, Italy, Sweden and Denmark, between 1958-62. Only a few of these sides are sung in English; Connie was the first R&R?artist to record specifically for international markets and within a year of her arrival, was routinely recording a half-dozen or so versions of her US hits in different languages. This set includes foreign language versions of songs like 'Too Many Rules', 'Everybody's Somebody's Fool', 'Where The Boys Are', 'Breakin' In A Brand New Broken Heart', 'Many Tears Ago', 'Don't Break the Heart That Loves You' and 'Someone Else's Boy'. She also, famously, recorded songs specifically for the German market, like 'Einmal Komm' Ich Wieder' and 'Eine Insel Für Zwei', which were huge hits there, while she recorded prolifically in Italian as this compilation confirms.
